New Blood Entry — The Protection Collection

The Protection Collection is a project that aims to combine traditional elements with modern contexts while starting an open and inclusive conversation around it. With this in mind, I wanted to create something that could exist outside of paper, a product that can actually be used and incorporated into different situations in life, so that the conversation is not limited. The Protection Collection addresses the holistic function of the keffiyeh, a traditional Arab garment, its origins and its current cultural significance with a modern pixelated twist that keeps it relevant and improves its accessibility in a perhaps more globalized world.
