Work to Work will allow commuters to include their travel as part of their normal working hours. Mexico City has the worst road congestion in the world. By utilising Ford’s Urban Shuttle Concept, our idea encourages office workers to adopt shuttle cars that adapt to work environments once docked. The time worked on their morning commute will be deducted - by the employer - from the end of the working day. This will significantly reduce traffic congestion by deterring private car use, as it’s impossible to work whilst driving.
