Wes Anderson's films are mostly recognised by his art direction: symmetric shots and a high detailed film craft. On the other hand, his characters lack these super organised attributes. These two elements are what make Anderson's films special, but most of the time the audience only recognises his visual style.
Broken Symmetry is the retrospective screening where the audience see beyond the visual style and realize how his messed up characters and their relationships break into that symmetry creating an engaging story.
