New Blood Entry — Out of This World

'Out of This World' is built around the concept of human settlement on an alien planet by 2025, based on an adaptation of the Mars One mission.

Part of the entry is in the form of an illustrated zine, as a documentation of a sketchbook I would keep during my time on the planet. For the digital piece, I used ideas from the zine to create one image. Imagery such as plants and rainbows represent ideas of growth, sustainability and hope. These are present throughout all of the work.
