I felt this was a decisive moment by the culture that is represented by various Portuguese components. Through research of street photographers I was able to section out certain components they used to make a great image eg. irony and humour. I incorporated this quality into my image, shown through the flag stating the greeting of ‘Ola’, a very friendly way of greeting someone yet underneath this sign rather the opposite is a Portuguese gentleman producing a negative ora. The culture is demonstrated through the coloured walls and the famous cobbled streets including the characters that fill them.
