Many young adults start living with roommates because of financial reasons. But with roommates, it’s hard for them to save electricity bills, because no one knows who’s using what energy in the house. So we created Energymate - An inexpensive device that plugs into an outlet, and sends electricity usage data to Energymate app. The app will show the energy usage for each room so each roommate can easily pay separately. With Energymate, roommates can now start saving electricity by saving money, and get along together by paying their own bill.
