Open Brief 2 - Make Your Mark / 2012
Constructive Procrastination
The brief was to make our mark, get noticed and maybe even get a job in advertising. But with so many other things to do instead of actually sitting down and working, that wasn’t going well. The only thing to do was work with what we had – a lot of ways to procrastinate. We made the problem the solution, literally. This set of 50 engraved pencils ensures that procrastination results in ideation. Meaning, it turns a real-world problem, time wasting, into something productive. This seemed ‘disruptive’ enough to get the attention of TBWA\HUNT\LASCARIS – it was, we work there now.
