In the online community, the ability to "get there first" is already associated with prestige. We decided to add a feature to IE9 that lets you mark your territory all across the internet. Every time you find something you believe has potential, you can mark it. If that topic, website or video later becomes viral, you'll earn points. The uses who gather the most points will be displayed as "Top Explorers" on the IE9 start page. So every time any IE9 user opens a new window or tab, the top exploring users and their discoveries will be promoted.
