Vignette is a new mobile application that connects the oldest form of printing with today's digital world. Directed towards designers around the world, this application sparks the creativity of every user with an interactive digital letterpress experience.

It is intended to link the user with their own creativity through the accessibility of mobile technology and connectivity of social networking The focus of this app is the artwork that the user is creating.

Vignette features many of the Arjowiggins papers, acting as an interactive new way for people to sample their paper through creativity. It allows the user to view that paper in a setting that might inspire future projects or present a new direction for a current project.

Further elaboration of this digital letterpress app would allow for social networking and an even stronger viral campaign among designers. After creating a digital letterpress print the user has the option to get it printed, share it, send it, or just save it. Setting up a gallery of the these prints would allow users to share within a Vignette community, thus inspiring creativity in yet another way.
