Challenge your way of generating and presenting ideas
Whatever ideas you have about illustration, prepare to change them. Working with acclaimed illustrator Ian Wright, this is an experimental studio session that will stretch the definition of image-making as far as it will go.
Explore the unpredictability of materials and extend on your craft skills to broaden your thinking about what a communicating image can do. Most importantly this workshop will allow you to generate ideas and discover how to express them.
- Discover how to connect and communicate through images
- Realise working to time constraints
- Be inspired to generate new ideas
Your session leader is Ian Wright. Image maker, Illustrator, creator of portraits, a man obsessed by music and beguiled by fiction. He is currently involved in creating large scale modular installations. He’s previously worked for Issey Miyake, The British Museum, Playlounge and now, you.
Find a piece of illustration or image making that really inspires you, bring it with you.
