About the Awards

The D&AD Professional Awards inspire and celebrate the best in design and advertising. Winning a Pencil remains the pinnacle of many careers.

Your work is judged and awarded according to D&AD's criteria by 25 specialist juries, exposing your ideas to the top people in each field.

So what do I win?

Pencils for all winners

From 2015 onwards, all winners will receive a D&AD Pencil. The Slices formally given to In Book and Nomination winners will be replaced by two brand new Pencils: a Wood Pencil (equivalent to bronze) and a Graphite Pencil (equivalent to silver).

Our equivilent to a bronze award. The best in advertising and design from the year, worthy of a place in the D&AD Annual.
