We're working with Monotype to bring you a stimulating typographic destination – our glossy new Inspired by Typography section.
Monotype host one of the oldest and richest typography archives in the world. We'll be exploring it online over the coming months, but you if you can't wait, you can see it yourself at their Pencil to Pixel exhibition, which run from 16/19-23 November, at Metropolitan Wharf, Wapping. You can sign up for a guided tour here.
To coincide with this we gave you have an opportunity to win a limited edition signed and stamped Gill Sans Condensed reproduction print.
We asked you to Instagram or Tweet a picture of a letter 'P' – using #InspiredbyTypography. The most creative and interesting entries were chosen by Monotype's UK Type Director, Daniel Rhatigan. They can be seen here:

On judging the competition, Daniel said "It was great to see so many playful, lively, and inventive submissions. But, one was clearly more spirited, and more conceptually ground breaking than any others."
