Público is one of Portugal's most influential daily newspapers. The paper's design takes full advantage of its small format. The graphic structure of the pages is vertical and the hierarchy is defined by the headlines and the number of columns each story has. The use of varying typography helps to distinguish hard news from long-form pieces and features in which photography and infographics play an important role. Público also has three weekend supplements that conform to the same graphic standard.
