This spot tells the story of one man's ill-fated pursuit of a woman throughout history. Beginning in the prehistoric era, a young man attempts to catch the attention of a pretty girl, only to be torn away from her by a rogue iceberg. The story repeats itself again and again, the guy's advances thwarted in a series of historical and increasingly spectacular ways. The eruption of Mount Vesuvius, the sinking of the Titanic and the Vietnam war protests all play a part in preventing him from reaching her. But, finally, at a modern-day gas station convenience store, our protagonist douses himself in Axe and his soulmate suddenly appears.
