Across the world, thousands of people are abused, imprisoned and tortured by their own governments, simply for expressing their views. They have little chance of being freed or getting home. Amnesty International and Leo Burnett London launched a disruptive act designed to draw attention to the plight of these people. The stunt targeted the thousands of commuters desperate to get home during evening rush hour at Waterloo, Britain's busiest station. Instead of the usual destinations, the departure board listed the horrific journeys of the prisoners. Commuters were invited to text their support of the campaign, and have their names appear on the board in real time.
