After an unsuccessful career as a Music Journalist at a local radio station in Gothenburg, Philip decided to study PR at IHM Business School. His first job as a creative was at TBWA/Shanghai where he stayed for two years, with a stop over in New York as China Representative for The One Show. Philip started studying Art Direction at Berghs School of Communication in 2003, graduating with Special Mentions in 2005. After Berghs, Philip was employed as one of the first creatives at Marcel/Paris, winning pitches/creating campaigns for brands like Orange, Coca-Cola, Stolichnaya. Philip also designed Marcel's iconic logo.
In 2006 Philip received the “Chicken” scholarship, given to the most promising young creatives, representing Sweden at Cannes Young Lions. He co-founded Volontaire in 2009 with the humble mission to create communication that changes the world. Awarded Cannes Lions Cyber Grand Prix, Clio Awards PR Gold, Art Directors Club of Europe Digital Gold, Guldägget PR GOLD, etc.
