Dorian Kurz studied Design in Germany at the Folkwang School at Essen and the Academy of Arts at Stuttgart.
After four years of being employed at the well-known studio “Phoenix Design” at Stuttgart, he founded “Kurz Kurz Design” at Solingen in 1992. The studio has specialised in “corporate product design” and among its clients are damixa, Kaldewei, Pelikan, Steinel, Vaillant, Villeroy & Boch, Wilo, WMF and Zwilling. The studio’s work has been awarded the iF, Red Dot, Design Plus, Good design Japan, Good design Chicago and many others.
