Creative Director - Kilo Studio
Benjy is a self-taught Interactive Media Designer. Formally trained as a Graphic Designer specialising in Information Design, he quickly developed an interest in the field of Interactive Design.
Armed with his passion and a thirst for new breakthroughs in design, Benjy has been in the interactive industry for the past 10 years having co-founded Kinetic in 1999 where he worked on global brands like Lotus, Nokia, Heineken, Nike and Microsoft. He started Kilo Studio in 2005 with the vision of seamlessly synergising the technical and creative processes in Interactive Design. Fiercely independent, Kilo is an interactive company that endeavours to explore new technology while maintaining Graphic Design sensitivities.
Benjy has garnered numerous awards at One Show Interactive, D&AD, The Art Directors Club New York, Young Guns, the Creative Circle Awards as well as the Asia Interactive Awards. He was also the first Singaporean to be awarded a Gold for Interactive at The Clio Awards.
Besides the One Show Interactive and Clio Interactive awards, Benjy has been on the jury for numerous regional and local design awards like the Cannes Lions, Times Asia Interactive, Asia Interactive Awards. He has served as Interactive Head of Jury in the local Creative Circle Awards.
