It started with a Commodore 64 in the mid 80s, and 20 years later Martin, 35, is working as Executive Creative Director at Åkestam Holst, Stockholm.
The Swedish agency is currently ranked as one of the top alternative agencies in Europe.
Martin has worked with global brands such as Carlsberg, Volvo, adidas, Nike, IKEA, MTV, Nokia, Tele2, Atari, Thomas Cook, Yahoo, and has served as juror at the Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio Awards and London International Advertising Awards.
In the last six years, Martin has been awarded 21 Cannes Lions (including two Grand Prix), eleven Clios, five One Show pencils, and five gold in New York Festivals and an Excellence in Swedish Design.
Before Åkestam Holst, Martin was Creative Director at 180 Amsterdam, where he worked on the adidas account. Prior to 180 Amsterdam, Martin worked at AKQA and Forsman & Bodenfors.
Cedergren was recently entitled ’The most important digital creative’ by the readers of the Swedish ad-paper Indikat.
