Koichiro Tanaka was born in 1973. He graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies. He worked for the advertising agency TYO until he founded Projector in 2004.
Koichiro has launched an impressive array of innovative interactive advertising campaigns including the Nissan Web Cinema ‘TRUNK’, Nike’s mobile phone football ‘Keme’, the dance music clock ‘UNIQLOCK’ and the mobile phone music generator ‘iida calling’.
In the four years since its founding, Projector has received recognition from over 50 advertising awards, including a Black Pencil at D&AD and Cyber and Titanium Lions in Cannes.
