Carlos Manga Junior is an award-winning director from Brazil.
Winner of six Lions at Cannes, he has also received multiple Brazilian and international awards, such as the World Medal at the New York Festival, Best Director and Best Film at the Clio Awards, El Ojo de Ibero America, and Fiap (Ibero American Festival).
Some of his most successful commercials include ‘Prisoner’, for Fiat (included in Gun Report 2004), and ‘Alzheimer’, for Portuguese organisation Instituto do Apoio à Criança. The latter was awarded a Gold Lion at Cannes in 2006.
He is currently working as a director for Paranoid Br, which is the first Brazilian commercial film production house with a crew of internationally recognised directors and producers and is part of Paranoid US, a holding with offices in Paris, London, Los Angeles, New York and associates in Hamburg and Sydney.
