Alex Mowat
Founder & Director of Architecture - Urban Salon Architects
Alex Mowat MA (RCA) RIBA ARB is the Founder and Director of Architecture of Urban Salon Architects and a project architect of over 15 years experience.
Alex has an extensive knowledge and interest in producing passive and active low energy and ecologically-driven solutions and has lead award-winning architectural and interior design projects with the team at Urban Salon. Alex has designed over 20 touring and permanent exhibitions and is currently leading a team on the design for Southampton’s Sea City Museum.
Alex is a graduate of the Royal College of Art. Prior to founding Urban Salon in 1996, Alex worked as an architectural assistant for Sir Michael Hopkins and Partners and Alsop Zogolovitch Ltd.
