Nigel graduated from Epsom Art College back in 1984. In his final year he won the Royal Society of Arts Young Designer of the Year competition and traveled abroad on placement as part of the prize.
Since then he’s worked as a designer and run his own design agency. He’s also been a panel beater and sprayer, a print sales rep, and a new business manager/account handler with various design agencies.
He’s worked on a traveling funfair too – essential research for his forthcoming book about fairground art.
Having changed career again at 36 (post a D&AD workshop series), Nigel re-entered advertising as a ‘junior’ copywriter at Carlson. Having been headhunted to Wunderman, TBWA/GGT, then again to RMG Connect, he’s now back at Wunderman as a Creative Director.
