Bird by Andrew Zuckerman
The website for the book ‘Bird’ by Andrew Zuckerman captures the photographic intensity of the book by making images the focus of the viewing experience. Unencumbered by the proportions of a framed space, the birds fill the screen in all their vibrant colours, appearing throughout the site in different locations as if alive. The site then takes the experience a step further by providing the sounds of the birds as well as scientific information – a highly modern rendering of the traditional field guide.
