Young Orators

This spot was created to communicate the power of great oratory, promoting the programme ‘The Lost Art of Oratory’ and the series ‘The Speaker’. We wanted to symbolise the rebirth of great oratory in the Obama era, and to explore the notion of whether the new generation will master the power of the spoken word. The trail features a series of children mouthing the words to one of the greatest speeches of all time, JFK’s ‘Ask not what your country can do for you’. They are mouthing his words with the same conviction as JFK himself, giving the speech a new power and relevance.
