Sarah's Story

‘Sarah’s Story’ had to be explicit. Editorially it was a long process before I felt we had achieved the correct balance of emotion, aggression and pace. I was painfully aware that I didn’t want the commercial to descend into a horror film.Sound was also a vital and delicate ingredient. A key moment was to drop away the sound during the removal of her clothing. Suddenly this scene took on a different dynamic that in some ways was more upsetting than hearing her scream. In fact, Motor Neurone Disease robs you of speech. This then became the moment that Sarah loses her voice forever.Everyone involved would like to thank Sarah Ezekiel, who has advanced Motor Neurone Disease, for agreeing to appear in this film. This film is the result of a direct relationship between the client, the creative people and the production company.
