Sarah’s Story
Over 5,000 people face life with Motor Neurone Disease. Sarah’s Story is a true story, an attempt to engage the viewer with how it feels to have MND. It begins with Sarah as a young woman, but through some stunning visual and aural techniques we see her painful, rapid deterioration into full-blown MND. In chilling detail we see how a perfectly healthy young woman can come under attack from an unseen assassin. The use of silence heightens the increasing isolation. This film is the result of a direct relationship between the client, the creative people and the production company. Everyone involved wishes to thank Sarah Ezekiel, who has advanced MND, for agreeing to appear in this film. Sarah’s Story was also nominated in Editing.
