In September 2009, CANAL+ launched its new ‘Original Creativity’ campaign. The aim was to highlight CANAL+’s showcase of original programming, consisting of series, documentaries and dramas, created exclusively by and for CANAL+, and scripted by prestigious writers suchas Olivier Marchal and Jean-Hugues Anglade. To launch this new campaign, we produced an advert where a husband comes home to find a man hiding in his wife’s closet. The man then describes a series of improbable events to explain his reason for being there. The advert unites humour, originality and a touch of impertinence inherent to the brand’s message: ‘Never underestimate the power of a great story’.
