POWA wanted to urge viewers to do their part in creating a society that does not tolerate abuse towards women. Using cinema and its sizeable screens, this spot makes the audience participate in the struggle. The following words appear on the screen one at a time, each on a different side, forcing viewers to shake their heads when reading the message: ‘One in every three women in South Africa gets raped. You can keep shaking your head, or you could do something to help. If you see something, say something’.
