Ulysses
Ulysses was the lead single from Franz Ferdinand’s third album ‘Tonight’. The promo was shot over two days on location in Los Angeles and the Mojave desert. It chronicles a lost weekend for the Scottish band in the city of angels. We wanted to create a loose, non-linear narrative that encompassed a range of locations and scenarios. The strong central performance with a few nods to The Odyssey eventually builds to a frenetic, disorientating climax. Ulysses was also selected in the Music Videos category.
