Happy Birthday Download for Children
This project was created to help the estimated six million children who won’t even reach their first birthday, as stated in the Millennium Development Goals by the United Nations, with the power of one song. Each day, a different artist sings his or her version of ‘Happy Birthday to You’. Songs can be downloaded to a mobile phone as ringtones for 105JPY (1USD), or attached to a text message and sent as a gift. All the proceeds from thedownloads are donated to the Japan Committee for UNICEF. A song that celebrates life becomes a song that saves lives.
