Reasons to Love New York
Our fifth annual ‘Reasons to Love’ issue demanded a cover that visually summed up the love New Yorkers have for their city. We used an image of a little girl in a red jacket serenely walking through the park, reminding our readers of great moments in the city, and also providing an introduction to the issue. In addition, we commissioned Michael De Feo to hand draw the type for the cover, giving the issue a more personal, intimate appearance.
