In May 2009, a new newspaper and media brand was born in Portugal with the aim of attracting a new generation of readers in print and online. From the small format, which is stapled and trimmed, to the organisation of the content, no detail was left unconsidered in the project’s conception. The paper begins with thought-provoking editorial pages, moves on to a brisknews round-up section, before relaxing into in-depth reporting on the news of the day, culture and sport. We use informative illustration, thoughtful photography, information graphics and bold colour to achieve a daily news magazine effect.
