Travelling in Space
This series of stamps celebrates the first space voyage by a Swedish astronaut. The creative brief was to give the stamp a sense of weightlessness. This was achieved by a design where, as in space, up and down are not defined and the stamps can be placed in any direction. Theprint is one-colour recess and four-colour offset. The stars are perforated and the rhomboid stamp features a microtext with the lyrics of an ABBA song, which was played in the shuttle.
