Ellery's Theory of Neo-conservative Creationism - A Catalogue
Jonathan Ellery unveiled his fourth solo show at the Wapping Project in November 2009. Ellery’s ‘Theory of Neo-conservative Creationism’ combined materials to produce a threeelement, multisensory show. Suspended brass sculptures depicting a series of ambiguousartworks responded to floating books and offset a digital sound installation. The one-colour,digitally printed catalogue was commissioned to accompany the show and represent the artist, showing artworks that had been machined into solid brass.
