The Voicebot in Parliament

This post-digital installation was designed to give young people a direct line to politicians. The Voicebot was an industrial robot arm, more commonly found turning screws in car manufacturing, which we taught to handwrite. Young people told us what they cared about through our website. The robot, placed inside the hallowed walls of parliament, wrote out their messages in real time for MPs to read. A Flickr pool, exhibition and data visualisation were other elements that explored how a disruptive use of the Internet can empower and connect society in remarkable ways.
