Xmas Declarations

In the past 15 years, 80% of the world’s poorest countries have suffered conflict; 90% of war victims are civilian. In 2009 Ctrl.Alt.Shift launched a campaign to raise awareness of the catastrophic impact conflict has on communities in developing countries. Hand grenade-shaped baubles may not seem like the most festive of things to put on a Christmas tree, but thedecorations were designed by Dorothy to act as a stark reminder of the realities of war. Packs were mailed out to press and peers to push the issue up the political agenda. Limited edition packs were also sold by SUCK UK in design stores across Europe.
