Kasabian Football Hero

Football Hero was created to promote the Kasabian single ‘Underdog’ and the band’s third album ‘West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’. The project was carried out with British sports brand Umbro. We combined football and gaming, two things we knew our target audience was passionate about, and created a three-storey high ‘Guitar Hero’ style game, played with footballs. Our talented freestyle footballers had to hit five huge pressure pads in time with the music to play ‘Underdog’. We created a film of the footballers learning to play the game, and a short documentary telling the story of how we created the game from a technical perspective.
