Commissaires, a distinctive gallery-boutique located in Montreal, wanted an invitation to launch its second exhibit, 'La couleur de l'ombre' (the colour of a shadow), in which every presented piece was black. The invitation was silkscreen printed onto an oversized sheet of black tissue paper, which could then be held up to the light to reveal the black on black text.
